Daniela Nardi will be taking up a 6 week residency in New York City this summer. While her home base in Toronto is a world class jazz city, New York is still a focal point for the music Daniela makes.
Daniela will be composing, planning new projects, and simply networking. "The idea is to explore the great music scene there, meet people, get the name out, and get the music out," says Daniela.

She won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2009 Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards in April. And the recognition threw the Toronto singer and songwriter into the spotlight. Music comes naturally to Daniela Nardi and so does driving.
"I feel like I came out of the womb driving because on my first driving lesson, my instructor said, "Do you want to go for your licence now? You're ready.' I guess I had a lot of practice driving my father's golf cart when I was younger." She started at the age of five.
