Daniela has joined forces with veteran manager Jack Forchette and his company Air Tight Management. The legacy of Air Tight spans four decades as a pioneering leader in artist management. A partial list of past and current clients include members of the Grateful Dead, Chicago, Huey Lewis and the News and Nirvana as well as, the contemporary jazz supergroup Fourplay. Daniela is quite excited about working with this company that is highly experienced and professionally versed in enhancing the overall careers and worldwide profiles of artists regardless of their craft, genre or objectives.
Daniela is working with independent radio promoter Roger Lifeset to promote the single "You…So Beautiful" to American radio. In its first week of release, the single was the third most added to American smooth jazz radio. With the release to radio comes a re-release of "One True Thing' which has new artwork and two songs which have been re-edited and remixed by Toronto's Boomtang Boys a.k.a. Four80East

Daniela has been in production the past few months with her new band for the release of her much anticipated second cd entitled "The Rose Tattoo". New band mates have been added as well, she is working with veteran producer Greg Kavanagh (www.kavasound.com) You can read about the production process in her blog "DNA ZONE". "The Rose Tattoo" follows is predecessor in its exploration of thoughts, feelings and the human spirit. Musically though, the record expands its sonic palate to include Algerian percussion, electronica, warm 70's style Rhodes and blues. A true mélange of sounds and vibes. Just what Daniela does best. The new release is scheduled for a September 2007 Canadian release followed by the rest of the world in early 2008.

With the coming of spring, comes a new beginning. Some have asked "where have you been? Where's the new record?" As the pages unfold to this book of my life, I see that things don't always evolve in a linear fashion (as much as we would really like them to). There have been a few, let's just say, speed bumps, which have forced me to slow down, wake up and pay absolute attention to this life journey of ours. I honestly wanted to give up but I managed to find some courage and look at these perceived obstacles as gifts. I am really excited about this new record, excited about the new life being breathed into my first release and ecstatic at sharing it all with you.
